Letter 139 – Volume 1, Book 3

23 May

As-Salamu ‘Alaikum

Q: How do you make a 21st century munaafiq squirm?

A: You tell him that the ahl al-kitab, the christians and jews, are filthy hell-bound kafirs and it is haram to be their friends!

This letter of the noble imam, a universally acknowledged Sufi, states explicitly that insulting the kuffaar and the blasted mubtadi’iin and heretics who make a mockery of Islam and raise objections towards the people of Allah is an act of virtue.

This letter is also a slap in the face of the pretentious people of plastic piety who like to talk about aadaab and akhlaaq only when it suits to shroud their cowardice or their affinities towards the kuffaar.

TRANSLATION OF LETTER 139 STARTS ————————————————————-

Written towards Ja’afar Baig Tihani:

On the mention of the dejected group that raises objections towards the ahl-Allah (i.e., people of Allah, the pious scholars of the Ahlus Sunnah). Insulting and disgracing this group is not just allowed, but it is also mustahsan (likable).

Your eminent letter was received [by the ascetic]. May Haqq Subhanahu wa Ta’ala grant you safety; you keep notice of the states of the ascetics, and regard their presence and absence as equal (i.e., you are equally considerate and concerned whether they are in your presence or not).

Your eminence! When the kuffaar of the Quraysh exaggerated plentifully in their attacking and efforts at dishonoring Islam due to their superior levels of debauchery, the esteemed Messenger, ‘alaihi wa ‘alaa aalihis salawaatu was salam, commanded some Muslim poets to insult and debase the worthless, idiotic kuffaar in their poetry. That poet used to sit on the mimbar (pulpit) in front of the esteemed Messenger, ‘alaihi wa ‘alaa aalihi min as-salawaati afdzaluhaa wa min at-tasleemaati akmaluhaa, and used to publicly say poetry disgracing the kuffaar. The Master, ‘alaihis salaatu was salam, said about the man that the time he spends being busy insulting the kuffaar, Ruh ul-Qudus (Jibreel) stays with him[1]. Being hurt and harassed by people is from amongst the toils of love [of Allah and His Messenger].

Oh Allah! Do include us from amongst those ‘ushshaaq [who bear love for You and Your Messenger]; by the hurmat of the Sayyidil Mursaleen, ‘alaihi wa ‘alaihim wa ‘alaa aalihis salawaatu wat tasleemaat.

END LETTER 139 ————————————————————————————————-

[1] – This hadith is authentic and comes from Shaykhaan, Bukhaariy & Muslim, that the Prophet, sal Allahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, commanded Hassaan bin Thaabit, radi Allahu ‘anhu, to insult the mushrikeen, right from the pulpit.

Those filthy scoundrels who hide behind the freedom of speech charade in order to seek to insult Islam and our Master Rasulullah, ﷺ, they should be shown zero mercy and be responded to as ruthlessly as possible, and in kind.

It is neither aadaab & akhlaaq of Islam, nor its tasawwuf, to sheepishly swallow insults and jabs at our religion and the Prophet. Such cowards who like to wax pretentious about their aadaab in the name of “Sufism” and “Sunnah”, twisting the words of scholars to suit their love of the kuffaar, should find other avenues and other excuses to lick the boots of their kafir masters.

Islam and Muslims are not supposed to be pacifists who swallow aggression and transgression.
