Who are the ahl al-bid’ah?

06 Jan

As-Salamu ‘Alaikum

In this age of syncretism, people claiming to be scholars of “Islam” are compromising on the dignity of Islam with the kuffaar. What then can we say about those who compromise the manhaj of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah with the people of dzalalah, the ahl al-bid’ah.

Some of these people of bid’ah are kafirs. Some are just sinners but not kafirs. The extent of their deviancy is based on what beliefs they hold and their practices and rituals.

The Ahlus Sunnah must be firm on their manhaj. The Ahlus Sunnah are ONLY & ONLY those who follow one of the four madhhabs of the Ahlus Sunnah, the Hanafis, Shafi’iys, Hanbalis, and Malikis.

Imam At-Tahtawi, in his marginalia on the Hanafi primer Durr Al-Mukhtar, states as such:

من کان خارجا من ھذہ المذاھب الاربعة فی ذٰلك الزمان فھو من اھل البدعة والنار

الطحطاوی علی الدرالمختار    کتاب الذبائح     دارالمعرفة بیروت       4/153

The one who is out of the 4 madhhabs in these times, he is from the ahl al-bid’ah (people of innovation) and hellfire.

May Allah keep us firm on the ways of the Ahlus Sunnah and protect us from falling into the ways of the kuffaar and the ahl al-bid’ah.

And May He protect us from falling into syncretism at ANY level, be it forging fluffy alliances with the ahl al-bid’ah like the shias and the wahabis and other deviants worse than them, or be it from the filthy menace of the modern day inter-religious syncretism that seeks to equate Islam and kufr, in the name of “interfaith dialogue” and “peace for humanity” and other such deceitful slogans.

Aameen, bi hurmati nabiyyihil amiin.
