Imam Al-Ghazali describes four types of people in terms of their needs (or lack thereof) for the Kalam science of Islam which incontestably proves beyond a shadow of doubt that Islam is THE ONLY true religion and that which appeals to the sound mind.
Regarding the second group of people,
Imam Ghazali says in his Al-Iqtisaad fi Al-I’etiqaad
Translation: The second group of people: a section that inclines away from the true belief, such as the kafirs and deviant innovators. The averse and vulgar are among these; those of weak minds that are stuck in blind imitation and are argumentative based on falsehood from the beginning of their lives until old age. Nothing works on this group except the whip and the sword. Most of the kafirs became Muslims under the shadow of the swords, because Allah does by the sword and the spear what He does not do by proofs and words. From this, if you read history, you will not read about any battle between Muslims and blasphemers without there being some of them that become Muslims, and you will not find a debate that did not increase anything but [antagonistic] insistence and stubbornness. Do not think that this that we have mentioned reduces the status of the mind and its proofs. Rather, the enlightenment of the mind is a grace that Allah does not grant anyone except a few of those who obey Him. The overwhelming state of creation is shortcoming and negligence, however, and due to their shortcoming, they do not sense the proofs of the mind, just as the sight of bats does not sense the light of the sun. Such people are so hurt by these sciences as a dung beetle is hurt by the smell of a rose. And citing their example, Imam Ash-Shafi’iy, rahimahuLlah, said [a couplet]: He who taught knowledge to senseless ignoramuses, he wasted knowledge; and he who prevented deserving, reasonable people from learning it, has committed a travesty.
We are concerned here about correcting the erroneous belief propagated by the lying disbelievers pretending to be “sufis” that Islam was not spread or can not be spread by expanding its influence and domination through conquests by wars and battles.
The truth is the opposite of what the zindiq “interfaith dialogue sufis” say.
Those kafirs pretending to be Muslim scholars are lying against the Quran, Hadiith, Fiqh, Tasawwuf and Islamic history; notwithstanding the fact that they only make fools of themselves in front of all and sundry!
While the kuffaar are proud of their ideologies being spread by their battles, these fools pant like dogs in front of their kafir masters. More on this topic will follow in the coming posts bi-idhniLlah.
As stated in many previous posts, wars are declared and treaties are enacted or dissolved by the rulers of the Muslims, following the guidelines and rules Islam has laid out.
Individual Muslims are not allowed to unilaterally take such decisions and act on them, as the jahil khawarij have done in recent times.
It is haram to take measures that firstly not only contravene Islam’s laws for wars (like the prohibition on killing women & children for example), but also greatly jeopardize the safety, security and well-being of the Muslim community; and render the Muslim community, themselves, their lives, properties, and most importantly the freedom to practice Islam – all vulnerable and susceptible to harm in front of the kuffaar.
