Abstruse words used by heretics & hypocrites

09 Aug

As-Salamu ‘Alaikum

‘Eid Mubarak to all Sunni Muslims.

May Allah accept all Ahlus Sunnah’s Ramadzans and cause us to be ever more increasingly harsher on heretics, zanadiq, apostates, hypocrites, and scholars of duniya and uproot their fitnah. Aamiin bi hurmati nabiyyihil amiin.

I was going through an obituary of a man of severe bid’ah, utter blasphemy and abject apostasy  – written by another man of equally severe bid’ah, blasphemy and apostasy.

It was both infuriating and also amusing at the same time to be reading such finely distilled evil.

One of the signs of the end of times is that evil will be packaged beautifully, and will be followed more than the truth. Our Master Rasulullah ﷺ himself has foretold us about the fitnah of the evil dajjal who shall present fire and garden, and the dajjal’s fire will in reality be safe haven for the believer, while his garden will be in reality fire for the believer.

It was infuriating because the person who wrote the obituary of the devil is lauded as a scholar, and he has a very sly way of playing with words and trying to justify any anomaly, heresy or kufr and unfortunately, some foolish Muslims who don’t know any better will fall for his intellectual deceit and debauchery. He knows how to wrap evil in very attractive packages.

It was amusing, because to any Muslim of elementary knowledge of the manhaj of the Sunnis, the people of Ash’ari and Maturidi creed and the four madhhabs of the Ahlus Sunnah, and the true Sufis adhering to this manhaj, this fraud’s fallacies stick out like a sore thumb. Try as hard as he may, the poor chap was unable to mask his fraud, deceit and debauchery. He just substituted a few abstruse words in place of a few easier ones, and he thought he has very cleverly justified the most severely reprehensible bid’ah – the one in Islamic beliefs. The fool only ended up making a clown of himself.

Anyway, just to keep the readers up to the mark with such outright hypocrites and heretics, I decided to mention some of the profound words and phrases used in the speeches and writings of such hypocritical giants and intellectual dwarfs who do not know that by using big words or sophisticated language, they still won’t be able to get away with their heresies.

Here’s a sampling of some of the profound language used by hypocrites and heretics in general, along with some of their intended meanings when you go through their anti-magnificent discourses!

There are many people who use this kind of language, none of the below are direct quotes from any specific person.

Abstruse: Heretics and hypocrites use these kind of words as a mask for justifying their heresies when they try to muddy a known and simple issue of the Sunni creed upon which there are proofs from Quran, Hadiith and there is a consensus of the masters of the ummah, and make it sound like it is a complex issue that only evil scholars like them know about.

Taawiil: On its own, it is Arabic for interpretation. Heretics and hypocrites deliberately inject this word in the wrong places, matters where interpretational differences of opinion between the sahaba or mujtahid scholars of the ummah simply can not and do not exist – on core matters of creed that are unambiguously stated in the Quran and Hadiith, and the Prophet ﷺ, his companions, the tabi’een or mujtahid scholars of the ummah NEVER interpreted them in any other way!

Heterodox understandings: A chic way to say –

‘A pathetic flight of fancy and a bid’ah in beliefs violating the manhaj of the Ahlus Sunnah and Muslims’

In contradistinction to the orthodox interpretation: A fancy way of saying –

‘I / we / my heretic partners deliberately choose to contradict the Quran, Sunnah, and ijma’ of the ummah, and we damn care where it lands us’.

Beyond the limits of mainstream orthodoxy: A fancy way to say –

‘I / we damn care if our beliefs, speech or actions violate the Quran, Hadiith and ijma’ of the masters of the ummah’.

Idiosyncratic opinions: Another clever way to say the same thing –

‘I / we damn care if our beliefs, speech or actions violate the Quran, Hadiith and ijma’ of the masters of the ummah’.

Rarified metaphysical dispositions: A profoundly intellectual-sounding justification for just as much idiotic rambling and ill-conceived sophistry.

Best left to people of knowledge so that it does not obfuscate the masses: When discussing their heresies, this is a really adorable and simply beautiful way of saying –

‘I am a person of knowledge. You’re just a common fool. My word is incontestable. This is really a very simple topic, but I choose to muddy it up and complicate it for you because I wish to spread my putrid heretical beliefs as opposed to the pristine creed of the Ahlus Sunnah.

We’re taking you for a ride with mumbo-jumbo like this and showing you who’s boss. We don’t care for anything, and by using phrases like this, we try to ensure that you dare not use your common sense or critical thinking skills,

or God forbid ever open your eyes to the blatantly obvious evidences found in the Quran, Hadiith and ijma’ of the scholars of the ummah, that shine as bright as daylight; only your admiration for sweet-poisoning batini heretics like us blinds you to it!’

‘Reconciling the antinomy pertaining to God’s mercy and wrath’

A giant doubt and a gaping void in a hypocrite’s personal belief coming to surface in his spoken or written discourse. What hypocrites really say using this phrase is –

‘We have a problem with the facts stated in the Quran that Allah’s Mercy in the hereafter is for Muslims only while His wrath is for the infidels.

We want to assure our infidel brothers and sisters that they too will be saved in the hereafter if they die infidels. We damn care if we deny the Quran’s expressly stated warnings and promises in the process.

Just as the jews say with certainty that they will enter heaven, we too do the same and state that our infidel brothers and sisters shall enter heaven.’

[Sufi saint / book name] buttressed [heretical] position: What the heretics and hypocrites imply by this line, when they introduce a heterodox position on an abstruse matter of creed, is this –

‘We’re really clutching at straws here and looking for saving grace to support our heresy. We know we have no evidence from the foolproof sources of creed (Quran & rigorously authenticated category of ahadiith) and ‘aqaid known to the ummah by tawatur (mass transmission).

We completely acknowledge that the words of a scholar are not the source of creed in Islam. This is in addition to the fact that books of scholars can contain misprints or innocent writing / typing errors on the part of the Sufi saint or Sunni scholar, or can be tampered with after his demise.

It is also in addition to the fact that only the Quran is divinely protected from being tampered and we are obligated to take the interpretations of the unambiguous verses regarding creedal matters exactly on their manifest meanings as Muslims from the Prophet ﷺ until our times have done.

We acknowledge that indeed weak narrations of ahadiith themselves do not establish core articles of faith on their own, and even when they address some additional details on some matters, the principle is to interpret them in conjunction with the unambiguous evidences relating to creed. What then can we say about an obscure book attributed to a Sufi saint!

Despite all this, we only mention the book or the unconfirmed saying attributed to a popular scholar only so that we can somehow validate our heresy.

In fact, when we are really desperate, we will even mention the positions of known deviants from deviant sects, like the mujassimah, in order to strengthen our arguments. Yet at other times, we profess that we are orthodox when another deviant sect’s position might not suit us.

The main thing to remember here is that we will go to any length to justify our propagation of heresies.

In fact, we even take great pride in stating that we have time and again lied against the orthodox positions of celebrated scholars of the ummah like Imam Al-Ghazali, stating the exact opposite of what these noble scholars said – only to spread heresy and please our christian and jew masters.

At yet other times, we speak with forked tongues wherein, we praise orthodox Sunni scholars, and at the same time, we propagate heresies that are diametrically opposite to the consensus of the entire body of the Ahlus Sunnah!

We do not anathematize a person: Regarding people who declare they are Muslims – Indeed, it is a matter of grave concern. The hypocrite perennialists and syncretists employ a sleight of hand in stating this rule of Islam. The rule is that we do not anathematize a MUSLIM unless and until the grounds for doing so are as clear as the mid-day sun. They just make a minor change from “A MUSLIM” to very generic “a person” in order to steer innocent Muslims away from calling their infidel brothers and sisters as infidels or to convey the promises and warnings of the Quran and hadith regarding such people. Additionally, it ALSO serves to shield their own selves, since a lot of times their heresies amount to abject apostasy and are as clear as the mid-day sun, so they would be deserving of such anathematizing. An example of one such abject apostasy is their willing and voluntary honoring and praising of kufr like christianity, buddhism, judaism, etc.

Having a great spiritual aura and demeanor: When talking about their idiosyncratic beliefs and flights of fancy, this is a beautiful way to say –

‘Be scared of saying something against that lying dajjal. He is my brother in heresy. Shut your eyes to all his heterodoxies, no matter how seriously he violates the deen.’

Adab for scholars: Excellent counsel and the soul of Islamic knowledge and practice on its own. However, when heretics and hypocrites talk about their or their heretic brothers or heretic teachers’ heterodoxy, what this sentence means is this –

‘We’re going to state this heretical position and we want you to blindly follow it as well, regardless of what the truth is. Merely questioning this putrid heresy is a crime and a violation of all adab ever known to man, much less showing us the evidence and truth against us!’

The flesh of scholars is poisoned: Used in the same vein as the above subterfuge.

We must not cause fitnah: Of course, this is fine counsel on its own. When used in the discourse of hypocrites, apostates and zanaadiq introducing or justifying something that is not within the confines of mainstream orthodoxy, what this sentence means is –

‘Don’t you ever dare point out my errors or bring out the truth of the matter regarding my heresy.

I don’t like to be proven wrong, especially in front of my support group of fellow heretic scholars and my congregation of unsuspecting people who chant ‘Ma-sha-Allah shaykh, you’re doing wonderful things to help Islam’ at anything I ever say or do.

Notwithstanding my wonderful christian and jew brothers and sisters also appreciating and praising my efforts to present an Islam acceptable to their fancies.

I will simply not tolerate being shown just how ignorant, wrong, and deliberately deceptive I am. I can and will call it a fitnah if I am ever taken to task.’

Of course there is no limit to sophistry. This post is only intended to sharpen the minds of Sunnis and raise their guards against the batini heretics, zanaadiq, hypocrites, perennialists and other sold out scholars of duniya masquerading as ‘scholars of Islam’.

And there is no success except by Allah’s granting.
